Big Horn Sheep

They told us to keep an eye open for wildlife. In the "barren" mountains along the Thompson river we saw a lot of Big Horn Sheep. Their distinctive white butts make them easy to spot from a distance. In BC they were going extinct so they brought in big horns from California. They have recovered their population in BC. Because the big horn population in California is dropping, they're now sending some back!
